Heat oil or butter in a pan.
2)Saute the spices except the Bay Leaf.
3)Add the onions and ginger-garlic paste and saute.
4)Add tomatoes, chilly powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder. Mix well.
5)Add the capsicum and mix well.
:- Make sure the capsicum is well cooked.
6)Add channa and salt along with
1/4 cup of water, so that the channa absorbs all the taste of the curry.
7)Place the bay leaf and cook covered for a few minutes.
8)Heat a little ghee in a separate pan and fry the cashewnuts.
9)When the channa is done, add the cashewnuts, coriander leaves and lemon juice.
:- Serve with Appam, Idiyappam or Fried Rice.
