  • Eggs - 3 nos
  • Butter(200 gm) - 2 sticks
  • Allpurpose flour(Maida) - 1 1/2 cups
  • Sugar - 1 1/2 cups
  • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
  • Caramel(As reqd) -
  • Baking powder - 1 1/2 tsp

Instructions
  1. Pre heat oven to 180 Deg celcius.
  2. Make caramel using 2 tbsp of sugar and cool it.
  3. Grate the carrot.
  4. Melt half a stick of butter in a pan.
  5. Add 2 tbsp of sugar and the carrot and saute till all the water evaporates.
  6. Let it cool for some time.
  7. Beat the remaining butter and sugar, till all the sugar melts.
  8. Add the eggs one by one.
  9. Add maida mixed with baking powder, a little by little and beat well.
  10. Add vanilla essence, caramel and carrot and mix well.
  11. Pour into a greased pan and bake until done.
