For preparring cashew milk halwa, first take the milk into a thick, deep bottomed vessel and keep boiling(stirring constantly) until the whole volume of milk is reduced to half liter. Keep this aside.
Soak the almonds and remove the outer brown layer. Dry and cut into fine shreds.
Soak the cashew nuts and after they are smooth, grind into a fine paste.
Take a deep bottomed pan, add 100 ml of ghee and heat. Add the cashew paste and fry until golden brown. Add the sugar and stir constantly till the sugar melts and forms a thick dough with cashew paste.
Add milk and remaining ghee. Continue cooking till it becomes thick.
Remove into a ghee-greased plate and sprinkle almond shreds on the top.
