Cauliflower with spicy coconut mix

Ingredients
  

  • 1 no Cauliflower
  • 2 nos Onions
  • 3 nos Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • Sugar A little
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • For grinding:
  • 4 tbsp Grated coconut
  • For seasoning:
  • 3 tbp Oil
  • 2 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 1" piece Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 1 no Cardamom Elakka
  • 1/2 tsp Aniseeds Perinjeerakam

Instructions
 

  • Cut onions, tomatoes and cauliflower.
  • Soak cauliflower in salted water for 15 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Season with all the ingredients.
  • Add onions and fry till golden brown.
  • Add tomatoes and keep frying.
  • Add all the cauliflower pieces and fry till it becomes soft.
  • Add ground coconut paste, turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt and little sugar.
  • Add enough water and cover the pan.
  • Cook till cauliflower becomes soft and gravy thickens.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve hot with chapathis or pooris.
