A Dish Made of Rice Flour & Coconut Milk

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Slightly Broiled Rice Flour
  • 2 - Coconut Milk not too thick and not too thin
  • Sugar As reqd
  • Cardamom(Elakka) for flavour

Instructions
 

  • Mix the rice flour with water and a tbsp of sugar (depending upon how sweet you want the dish to be).
  • Make small tiny balls out of the mixture and keep it aside.
  • Keep a vessel in the oven and pour the coconut milk into it.
  • Add 1 - 2 tbsp of sugar to this (depending upon how sweet you want the dish to be).
  • Mix 2 or 3 tbsp of rice flour in a little bit of water, so that you would get a watery white syrup.
  • Pour this syrup into the coconut milk and let it start boiling.
  • Put in the cardamom and the small rice balls and let it cook.
  • When the gravy becomes of thick consistency, remove from fire and let it cool down a bit.
  • :- You may also add ripe banana pieces to this dish, after adding the rice balls, for children.
