  • Cut the jackfruit into medium sizes, add little turmeric powder and salt to it.
  • Mix well.
  • Steam cook it for 10-15 minutes.
  • Crush shallots and green chilly.
  • Take a bowl and add grated coconut, curry leaves, crushed shallots, green chilly and little turmeric powder. Combine well.
  • Add it into the cooked jackfruit. Add little hot water and mash well. Adjust the salt.
  • Now we have to temper the stir fry. Heat oil and splutter mustard seeds.Then break 3 dried red chillies and add it into the oil. Finally add some curry leaves and turn off the flame.
  • Add this into the Puzhukku mixture and mix well.
  • Serve!
