  • Pavakka(cut into thin slices, Bittergourd) - 1 cup
  • Chakkakkuru(cut into thin pieces, Jackfruit seeds) - 1 cup
  • Small onions(Kunjulli) - 5 nos
  • Red chillies(Kollamulaku) - 3 nos
  • Onion(chopped, big) - 1 no
  • Turmeric powder - 3/4 tsp
  • Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coconut oil - 3 tsp
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. Cook the bittergourd pieces and jackfruit seed pieces along with turmeric powder, chilly powder & salt, until they are well cooked.
  2. :- If water is left after cooking, drain it.
  3. Make a paste of small onions & red chillies.
  4. Heat oil in a pan.
  5. Fry the onion-chilly paste in it.
  6. Add the cooked bitter gourd & jack fruit seed pieces into it. Stir well.
  7. Fry the big onion pieces in oil, until they turn golden brown and add this to the above.
  8. :- Serve hot with rice.
