Instructions
  1. Wash rice and green gram.
  2. By spreading them over a neat surface, allow to dry.
  3. Cut the coconut into small pieces.
  4. Fry both coconut and cashew in 1 tbsp of ghee.
  5. Mix 1 ltr of milk and 2 glasses of water and boil.
  6. Add rice and green gram.
  7. Cook until done.
  8. Add cashew & coconut pieces followed by sugar/jaggary powder. Mix well.
  9. Add cardamom powder.
  10. Add the ghee.
  11. Mix thoroughly and allow to simmer gently on low flame until fully done.
