Channa Dal Chutney

Channa Dal chutney is a interesting chutney which goes good with dosa and paratha. This is very simple and easy to prepare . We could make a dry powder of this and store it. just a mix of fresh curd will transform this powder to a good tasty and spicy chutney. Dry roast the ingredients separately and make a coarse powder. This goes great with any combination.

  • curd 50 gms -
  • Salt to taste -

  • mustard 1/2 sp -
  • capsicum chops 2 sp -
  • Curry leaves Few -

Instructions
  1. just fry channa dal in pan till it gets roasted
  2. separately stir fry cumin seeds
  3. also fry red chili
  4. make a powder of the above three with salt and hing , pepper
  5. grind to a coarse powder
  6. mix this powder with curd
  7. in oil saute some capsicum cubes , mustard and curry leafs
  8. add to the chutney and serve
