Channa Masala - Perfect Side Dish White kadala for chappathis 250 gm Channa (soaked)5 nos Onions (medium)3 nos Tomato (medium)1/2 tsp Ginger (chopped)1 tsp Garlic (chopped)4 nos Green chillies (slit, big)Curry leaves (As reqd)1 1/2 tsp Chilly powder1 tsp Turmeric powder2 - Cloves (Grambu)1 tsp Garam masalaSalt (As reqd)Oil (As reqd) Heat coconut oil in pressure cooker.Add cloves and cinnamon.Add chopped ginger, garlic, curry leaves and green chillies.Add chopped onions and saute well.Add the turmeric powder, chilli powder and garam masala and saute well.Finally, add the soaked channa and mix well.Add salt as required.Add the required amount of water and cook it in cooker.:- You can also add coconut milk after the channa is well cooked, if it is too spicy.
