  • For preparing Chena Varutharacha Curry, first wash chena and cook in a cooker for 5 minutes i.e. 3 whistles.
  • After 3 whistles, we can switch off gas stove.
  • Heat oil in another kadai add grated coconut, red chilly and saute for a minute.
  • When coconut becomes brown in color, we can switch off stove.
  • Grind the mixture in a mixer.
  • Add the ground mix to cooked chena in cooker. Add salt and boil for 2 minutes.
  • Heat oil in another kadai, add mustard seeds and when it splutters, add red chili and curry leaves Saute for a minute.
  • Add this tempering to chena mix.
  • now this special dish is ready.
