Meanwhile, chop the sweetened cherries to very small pieces and add these chopped cherries to the pan and stir for around a minute.
Add this mixture to the hot custard, just prepared and pour it on to a mould or any vessel, of whose shape you want your pudding to obtain.
Refrigerate it for atleast 1 hr for it to set.

:- If you dont have cherries at home, you can use other sweet fruits instead, needn`t be sweetened or canned either, simply substitute it with cherry... you can also use multiple fruits too. but make sure you use sweet fruits as pears, strawberry etc and not citrus fruits....
