Cherupayar Thoran Mouth watering thoran with sprouted Cherupayar/Moong dal 1 cup Sprouted Green Gram (Cheruparippu/Moong Dal)8 nos Shallots – 6 (finely chopped, Kunjulli)2 nos Green chillies (finely chopped)1/4 cup Grated coconut1/4 tsp Turmeric powder1/4 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeerakam)Coconut oil (As reqd)1 tsp Mustard seeds1 - Red chillies (Kollamulaku)Curry leaves (A few)Salt (As reqd) Mix well together the above chopped items, sprouted dal, grated coconut, cumin seeds, salt & turmeric powder.:- Mix using your hands for best results.Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.Splutter mustard seeds and sautT red chillies and curry leaves.Add the mixture and mix well.Cover the pan with its lid and cook on low flame.Simmer for 3 mins.Remove the cover and mix well the whole contents again.Keep it on flame till done.
