Chettinad Baby Potato Roast

Chettinad baby potato roast is prepared using the baby potato, freshly grounded masala is added to the curry, which enhance the flavor and taste.This baby potato is very good to combo for curd rice and sambhar rice.

  • Baby potato - 250 gm
  • Red chili - 4
  • Coriander seed - 2 tbsp
  • Jeer, pepper, and funnel seed - 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves(– 1 sting) -
  • Cloves and cinnamon - 1
  • Fried Gram - 1 tsp
  • Coconut - 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - ½ tsp
  • Salt(as per taste) -
  • Mustard - ½ t

Instructions
  1. In pan dry roast all ingredient and allow to cool
  2. Now grind and make fine paste and keep aside
  3. In mean time boil baby potato and remove skin
  4. Now pick with fork and keep aside
  5. In pan add oil and temper mustard and curry leave
  6. Now add ginger garlic paste and sauté well till raw smell goes
  7. Now add grind paste and add salt then cook for 2 mins
  8. Now add boiled potato and Mix well then cook till it coat well
  9. Chettinad Baby Potato Roast is ready to serve with curd rice or meals.
