  • Clean and cut mutton into medium size pieces.
  • Grind together shallots, ginger, garlic, spices, pepper corn and all powders into a coarse paste.
  • Marinate the mutton with the above paste and salt for 30 mins.
  • Heat a tbsp of oil in a pressure cooker.
  • Add the marinated mutton.
  • Pressure cook upto 4 whistles.
  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add curry leaves and chopped onions and saute, till they become golden brown.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and saute, till they become soft.
  • Add the mutton to it and cook, till the oil separates.
  • Chettinad Mutton Curry is ready.
  • :- Serve the Chettinad Mutton Curry / Chettinad Mutton kulambu with hot rice.
