The drink can be brought together in less than five minutes and is the star of the season, especially in my family. This is a trending drink very popular in leading restaurants and hotels. This is the perfect drink that can enjoyed on hot summer days. You can serve it for parties too and the drink will keep disappearing in seconds. It is the presence of Chia seeds that makes the drink super healthy. The soft jelly like crunchies makes Chia Mint Lime unique and special. I fell in love with Chia Mint Lime at my friend’s place. My dear friend handed me the recipe. I tried in my kitchen and it was a grand success. I do not have words to describe it. ‘Heavenly’ is the word I will describe. My family and kids fell in love with the drink and keep on pestering me every week for the drink.

While preparing Chia Mint Lime, I got a few vital points that should be observed. Go for fresh mint leaves and avoid all blackish ones that has been kept refrigerated for longer period. Fresh mint is flavorful and smells good. Also use fresh lemons for the drink. Regarding nutrition, all I have to say is that this is a super drink having three mighty ones – lemon, mint and chia. Lemon is widely known for its Vitamin C content. Mint is flavorful and is rich in many vital nutrients especially Vitamin A and antioxidants. Chia Mint Lime

Ingredients
  

  • 4-5 nos. Mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp Chia seeds Ssoak in 1/2 cup water for 10 minutes
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 no. Lemon Remove seeds and outer skin.
  • Ice Cubes

Instructions
 

  • Take a blender and add lemon and mint leaves. Give a crush.
  • Next add sugar and ice cubes. Pour water and blend it for 1 minutes. Pour it through a strainer.
  • Take juice glasses and add 1 tbsp chia seed into each glass.
  • Pour juice over that and serve immediately.
