Collected the recipe from a friend of mine and it was an instant hit at my home, especially my kid who was very fond of chicken based snacks. Unlike Chinese spring rolls, here the filling is rich in Indian spices. That suits Indian palate well.

  • Cook the chicken by adding salt and 1/2 tsp pepper powder and shred it.
  • In a pan pour little oil. Add the chopped onions and saute till transparent. Add ginger garlic paste and green chilly.
  • Saute well and add the spice powders one by one and mix well. Add shredded chicken, salt as per taste and add the chopped coriander leaves. Fry it for another 2 mins and off the flame.
  • For preparing dough, take a bowl and add maida, salt and combine well. Add water little by little, knead well and make a chappathi like dough. Pinch lemon sized balls from the dough and roll out into small round disc.
  • Now with a rolling pin roll the bread thin. Put 1 tbsp filling on this and roll the bread.
  • Place the rolled bread on the flour crepe and roll it.
  • Do the same with rest of the breads.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and fry to a golden brown color.
  • Fry till it become crispy.
