Chicken in soya sauce and vinegar

Vinegar

Ajinomoto

sprigs
Spring Onions

Garlic

Cashew nuts

Red Chillies
Kollamulaku
1
tsp
Chilly Powder
Chicken Stock/
water
¾ cup
2
tsp
Cornflour
2
tsp
Cooking
Oil
½
tsp
Sugar
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
Clean the chicken pieces in running
water
and drain all the
water
.
Add soya sauce, vinegar,
salt
,
sugar
and ajinomoto.
Mix well and marinate for 3-4 hours.
In a broad pan, heat
oil
.
Add the cashew nuts and roast them lightly.
Remove from fire and keep aside.
In the same
oil
, add chopped
red chillies
,
garlic
and finely chopped spring onions and saute`.
Add the marinated chicken.
Sprinkle chilly powder and fry until
water
evaporates.
Add corn flour mixed in a little
water
and the fried cashew nuts.
Cover and cook till done.
