  • For preparing Chicken Kondattam Kerala Style, first marinate the boneless chicken pieces with turmeric powder, 1 tsp chilli powder, salt and corn flour.
  • Mix the grated coconut and chilli flakes. Keep aside.
  • Grind vinegar and dry chillies and keep aside. Fry the chicken in oil. Keep this aside.
  • In a frying pan, fry onion, green chillies, ginger and garlic. Fry for 5 minutes. Add the capsicum and fry again. Add chilli powder, coriander, garam masala and chilli paste. Add the grated coconut mixture and fry again. Fry till it becomes crispy. Add the soy sauce, tomato sauce and fry well.
  • Add salt, curry leaves, coriander leaves and sprinkle little water. Add the fried chicken in it and coat well.
  • Mix well. Coat the chicken well in masala.
  • Kerala Style Chicken Kondattam is ready.
