  • Chicken breasts - 2 nos
  • Ready(made breadcrumbs - 150 gm) -
  • or -
  • Cut bread(brown or white) - 6 slices
  • Egg - 2 nos
  • Vegetable oil - 100 ml
  • Basil, parsley or both - 1 tsp
  • Salt(as reqd) -
  • Freshly ground black pepper(few) -
  • Plain flour - 50 gm

Instructions
  1. Cut the chicken into small chunks so they will fit into the blender.
  2. Blend it by adding pepper, salt and keep it aside.
  3. To make breadcrumbs place the slices of bread in the oven at 100c for one hour until they are dried.
  4. After cleaning the blender put the bread sliced into the blender and blend it by adding pepper and salt for seasoning.
  5. Once the seasoning is nicely mixed pour the breadcrumbs into one of the bowls.
  6. Take the 2 eggs, crack them into a bowl and beat them together.
  7. Line up the chicken mix, the flour, the eggs and the breadcrumbs in four bowls. :- Rub your hands with some flour to avoid them becoming too sticky.
  8. Take some chicken mixture and roll it in the palm of your hands to create a smooth ball shape about the size of a ping pong ball.
  9. Take the chicken nugget and roll it in the flour.
  10. When totally covered, roll it in the egg.
  11. Then roll the nugget in the breadcrumbs and place it on a plate.
  12. Gently press down on it with the flat side of a knife to form the perfect nugget shape.
  13. Heat the pan to medium and add the oil, so that the oil is hot but not smoking.
  14. Place the nuggets into the pan and cook gently on a low heat for about 5 minutes turning them every few minutes so they don`t burn.
  15. :- Serve hot!!!
