Chicken Roast A spicy chicken dish 1 kg Chicken1 tbsp Chilli powder2 tbsp Coriander powder1/2 tsp Turmeric powder1 tbsp Lemon juice2 tsp Garam masala4 nos Onion (sliced, big)1 tbsp Ginger paste1 tbsp Garlic paste1 no Tomato (sliced, big)4 tbsp OilSalt (As reqd) Cut chicken into small pieces.Roast chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder together in a pan without oil to remove the raw smell and taste of these powders.Marinate chicken pieces with roasted masala, lemon juice, 1 tsp of garam masala and little salt.After half an hour, cook this marinated chicken with little water in a medium flame and make sure that there is no water left after cooking the chicken.Heat the oil in a pan or kadai.Saute the sliced onion till it becomes light brown.Add ginger and garlic paste and saute for a while.Add sliced tomato and mix it well.Add the cooked chicken pieces and mix it well with the onion masala.Sprinkle the remaining garam masala over the dish and cover it with a lid and cook it on very low flame for 15 mins.Add some salt if needed.After 15 mins, serve the dish with appam, chappathi or parotta.
