  • For preparing chicken schezuan, first mix together the following ingredients: 1/2 tbsp soya sauce, 1 tbsp cornflour, 1 tbsp maida, agino moto, 1/4 tsp pepper powder and required salt.
  • Mix the drained chicken pieces with the mixture and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated chicken pieces to a golden brown color. Keep the fried chicken pieces aside.
  • Pour the remaining oil into another pan. Heat the oil and add sugar. Saute till sugar becomes light brown in color.
  • Add onion, garlic, ginger and fry till golden in color.
  • Stir in chilly sauce, remaining soya sauce and tomato sauce. Stir in low heat.
  • Add a pinch of agino moto, 1/4 tsp pepper powder and salt if needed.
  • Add little water and stir well in low heat.
  • Stir in fried chicken pieces and sprinkle 1/2 tbsp corn flour.
  • Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes in low heat.
  • When the gravy acquires a thick consistency, remove the vessel from fire.
  • Chicken schezuan, a yummy mouth watering dish, is ready. Serve hot with fried rice, noodles etc.
