Chicken-Spinach-Mushroom Alfredo

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pkt Alfredo pasta
  • 1 carton Heavy cream 16 oz
  • 1 1/2 cup Parmasean Cheese powder/shredded
  • 2 nos Onion sliced, medium
  • 2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Ginger powder
  • 4 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Red pepper crushed, dry seeds
  • 2 tbsp Basil leaves dry flakes
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning dry flakes
  • 3 cups Spinach chopped
  • 2 nos Chicken breast diced
  • 1 cup Mushroom chopped
  • 1/4 cup Whole milk optional - for less creamy pasta
  • 2 tbsp Butter optional
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Boil 1 packet of alfredo. Drain and keep aside.
  • Cut chicken breast into cubes.
  • Marinate chicken with the black pepper, salt and 2 tsp of garlic powder. Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan .
  • Fry the sliced onions.
  • Once the onions turn slightly brown, lower the heat.
  • Add the ginger, garlic, red pepper seeds, basil and Italian seasoning powder.
  • Add salt as needed and keep stiring.
  • Once thoroughly mixed, add mushroom, spinach and chicken.
  • :- DO NOT ADD WATER as chicken & mushroom gives off enough water.
  • Stir and cook open on medium heat till chicken is cooked & water evaporates.
  • :- DO NOT COVER THE PAN.
  • Once the water evaporates, put heat on low.
  • Add the cream, butter and cheese and stir everything well.
  • Add this mixture to the cooked pasta and stir thoroughly.
  • :- If its too thick, add 1/4 cup of milk and stir. Adjust salt as needed.
  • :- Serve on a plate and enjoy creamy pasta alfredo !!! =0)
