Chicken With Spring Onion
Taste the difference of chicken in
spring onion
& capsicum gravy

Onion
medium squarely diced

cup
Capsicum
squarely sliced
1/4
cup
Ginger
finely chopped
1/4
cup
Garlic
finely chopped
3/4
cup
Spring onion
finely chopped
3
tsp
Chilly powder
1
tsp
Turmeric powder
2
tsp
Pepper powder
3/4
cup
Tomato
chopped
Vegetable
oil
For marination:-
1
tsp
Chilly powder
1/2
tsp
Turmeric powder
2
tsp
Pepper powder
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
Marinate the chicken pieces with the ingredients for marination.
:- Small pieces of chicken tastes good.
Refrigerate it for an hour.
Shallow fry the chicken pieces.
:- Gets fully cooked in the gravy.
Saute the
onion
in the same
oil
.
:- Do not let it turn brown.
Add
ginger
and
garlic
.
When it gets sauteed, add all the powders one by one.
Saute it for 2 mins.
Add
tomato
slices into it and stir occasionally.
Add
spring onion
and
capsicum
one by one. Saute well.
Pour 1/2 cup boiled
water
.
When it simmers, add the fried chicken pieces.
When it simmers, keep the flame low.
Let the chicken get fully cooked.
