Ingredients: 1/2 kg Chicken pieces; 300 gm Vermicelli (Semiya); 3 nos Onions; 2 nos Tomatoes; Ginger (garlic paste - 2 tbsp); Curry leaves (A few); 6 nos Cashewnuts; 1 tbsp Raisins (Onakka munthiri); 2 nos Cloves (Grambu); 2 nos Cardamom (Elakka); 2 Bay leaves (Vazhana/Karuga ela); 2 tbsp Soya sauce; 2 tbsp Green chillies; 2 tbsp Coriander leaves; 1 tsp Garam masala powder; Salt (As reqd); 1 cup Oil

Ingredients

1/2 kg Chicken pieces
300 gm Vermicelli Semiya
3 nos Onions
2 nos Tomatoes
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Curry leaves A few
6 nos Cashewnuts
1 tbsp Raisins Onakka munthiri
2 nos Cloves Grambu
2 nos Cardamom Elakka
2 Bay leaves Vazhana/Karuga ela
2 tbsp Soya sauce
2 tbsp Green chillies
2 tbsp Coriander leaves
1 tsp Garam masala powder
Salt As reqd
1 cup Oil

Instructions

Heat 2 tbsps of oil and fry the vermicelli till brown.
In another pan, heat 1/2 cup of oil and fry cashewnuts and raisins till brown. Remove from the pan.
In the same oil, fry the cloves, cardamoms, bay leaves, chopped green chillies and curry leaves.
Add the chopped onions and fry till brown.
Add the ginger - garlic paste and saute till brown.
Add the chicken pieces, tomatoes, garam masala, coriandar leaves and salt. Saute till chicken is fried.
Add the vermicelli and 1 cup of hot water. Boil till vermicelli is cooked and water evaporates.
Add the soya sauce, fried cashewnuts and raisins. Mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
