Ingredients
  

  • 6 nos Ripe chikkus peeled, cored and mashed, Sapota
  • 100 g Khoya crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/8 cup Water
  • Almonds flaked
  • Melon seeds A few

Instructions
 

  • For preparing chikku halwa, heat a vessel and dissolve the sugar in the water to prepare a thick syrup over low flame.
  • Add in milk, mashed chikkus, khoya and ghee stirring in intervals. Allow it to simmer till it becomes thick.
  • Pour into a greased plate and leave to cool.
  • Chikku halwa is ready. Serve sprinkled with almonds and melon seeds.
