  • Gram flour(Kadalamavu) - 400 gm
  • Chilly powder - 50 gm
  • Salt(As reqd) -
  • Tamarind(To be filled inside the chillies) -
  • Asafoetida powder(As reqd, Kayam) -
  • Water(As reqd) -
  • Oil for deep frying -

Instructions
  1. Mix gram flour, chilly powder, salt and asafoetida in water to prepare a smooth batter.
  2. Make a small hole on the chilly to fill the tamarind.
  3. Dip the chillies in the batter.
  4. Fry them in the oil till they become golden brown.
