Instructions Slice the onions lengthwise. Heat oil in a pan. Saute red chillies. Add the onions and saute until it turns brown. Add tamarind also if it is used instead of vinegar. Grind the fried onions and red chillies in a mixer. Add salt to taste. :- Serve with dosa or idli.... n enjoy... ***Note - *Vinegar can be replaced by tamarind (Valan puli). Use it in the size of a gooseberry (Nellikka) and fry it along with the onions.
