  • Potatoes - ½ kg
  • Beans - 200 gm
  • Carrots - 100 gm
  • Capsicum - 150 gm
  • Cabbage - 100 gm
  • Bread - 5 pieces
  • Green chillies – 2(crushed) - 3 tsp
  • Ajinomoto - 1 tsp
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. Cook, peel and mash potatoes.
  2. Add salt to it.
  3. Chop carrots and beans into very fine pieces.
  4. Chop cabbage too but very finely.
  5. Add salt and keep aside for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Squeeze out the excess water.
  7. Meanwhile, chop capsicum finely.
  8. Crumble the bread pieces.
  9. Heat 1 tbsp of oil.
  10. Add carrots and beans and fry them.
  11. Then add cabbage, capsicum followed by Ajinomoto, crushed green chillies & salt to taste.
  12. Stir fry & remove from heat.
  13. Allow it to cool.
  14. Into the mashed potatoes, add the vegetable mixture & crumbled bread pieces and mix well.
  15. Make lemon sized balls of the above mixture and shape them into 2-3 inch stick.
  16. Fry them in hot oil.
  17. Drain the excess oil on the tissue paper.
  18. :-Serve hot with tomato/chilli sauce.
