Chocolate Cake-Muffins

Cocoa batter topped with cream cheese filling, chocho cornflakes and baked in muffin cups to prepare this yummy favorite with kids recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup All purpose flour Maida
  • 1/2 cup Sugar powdered
  • 1 tbsp Cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Butter room temperature
  • 3 tbsp Chocos cornflakes

For filling:

  • 8 tbsp Cream cheese
  • 1 no Egg
  • Semi sweet chocolate chips – 1/2 cup
  • 1/4 cup Sugar powdered
  • Salt A pinch

Instructions
 

  • For preparing chocolate cake/muffins, first mix together the ingredients for filling : cream cheese, egg, chocolate chips, sugar and salt. Set this aside.
  • Sieve together maida, cocoa, baking soda, sugar and salt. Add milk, vanilla, vinegar and butter. Mix well with an electric mixer.
  • Now the 2 sets of mixtures are ready.
  • Take a muffin cup and fill half the portion with cocoa mixture.
  • Top with 1/2 tsp cream cheese filling. Repeat same procedure with remaining muffin cups.
  • Bake the muffin tins in a preheated oven for 18 minutes at 350ª.
  • Chocolate cake/muffins, a yummy as well as tasty cake, is ready. Serve with chocos cornflakes on top.
