Keep stirring to avoid sticking to the bottom of the pan. Add chilly powder, turmeric and coriander powder.
Now add capsicum, chorizo pieces, salt and sugar. Stir for few minutes.
When the oil separates, add the drained rice and fry for few minutes. This will help to finish the rice in good consistency. Now add water slightly above the level of rice.
Close it tightly and cook for few minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with raita.
** Note for Chorizo(Pork Sausage): For the convenience of cooking only remove the strings/threads. You can remove the skin at the time of eating if you need to. The skin is also edible.
