  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  • Grease bottom and sides of a 9 x 3 inches round cake pan. Dust the pan with flour and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl ,mix all the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda , salt , sugar and masala powder)
  • In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and butter till creamy.
  • Add caramel syrup,vanilla and the fruit rum mixture and dry fruits to it and mix lightly,(don`t over mix)
  • To this bowl, add the dry ingredients in slowly and stir with a spatula until just blended. Do not over mix.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40 to 45 mins until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
  • Cool the cake in the pan for 20 mins before unmoulding.
  • :- Let cool completely.
