  • Freshly grated coconut - 1 cup
  • Sugar(¾ cup) -
  • Milkmaid - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Ghee - 2 tbspoon
  • Cardamom powder - ½ tspn
  • Boost/ Bournvita/Cocoa powder - ½ tspn

Instructions
  1. Heat a heavy bottomed pan.
  2. Add ghee to the pan and heat it.
  3. Then put the coconut and continuously fry it till it becomes dry.
  4. Add sugar and milk. Stir it continuously.
  5. Add milkmaid to it and bring the contents to boil.
  6. Keep on stirring continuously.
  7. Add 1/2 tspn of bournvita and keep on stirring.
  8. Add a pinch of cardamom powder for flavour.
  9. Boil the syrup till it becomes thick and starts sticking to the bottom. :- If required add, raisins, cashews (optional)
  10. Add 1 tspn ghee and stir it for about half minute. The mixture should become soft.
  11. Pour the mixture into a greased pan so that it spreads evenly.
  12. Allow it to cool and then cut into square or diamond shapes.
