  • Cardamom powder(Elakka podi) - 1/4 tsp
  • Milk - 1 tbsp
  • Nuts(finely chopped)) - 2 tsp
  • Ghee - 1/2 tbsp
  • Water - 3/4 cup
  • Pista(gratted) - 1/2 tsp
  • Badam(gratted) - 1/2 tsp

Instructions
  1. First fry lightly the grated coconut in a pan. Keep aside.
  2. Take a vessel and boil water.Add sugar and bring to boil in low flame.
  3. Add milk to boiling sugar syrup.
  4. Keep stirring until sugar syrup thickens.
  5. Stir in fried coconut and mix well to combine sugar syrup and coconut.
  6. Add cardamom powder and ghee. Stir gently.
  7. Spread and flatten mixture in a greased flat surface with gratted nuts. 8)Allow coconut burfi to cool and cut into desired shapes.
