  • Heat a suitable pan to accommodate the grated coconut. (Should not add oil in pan).
  • Roast the coconut in the pan till it turns into brownish color.Transfer the roasted coconut from the pan.
  • Add a tsp of oil in pan. Add coriander leaf. Add Sambar parippu & uzhunnu.5) Roast the uzhunnu & sambar parippu till it turns into brown.
  • Transfer the roasted uzhunnu & Parippu from the Pan.
  • Fry the Tamarind in the pan.
  • Roast the Coriander powder & chilly powder.
  • Powder the roasted Uzhunnu, parippu & Tamarind in a mixer. Keep it aside the powder.
  • Powder the roasted coconut and roasted chilly & coriander powder.
  • Mix the roasted coconut powder & Uzhunnu & parippu powder in a polybag for 3-5 minutes.
  • Coconut chammanthipodi ready.
