For preparing coconut macaroons recipe, first bring water to boil in a flat bottomed pan and reduce heat to low.
Add jaggery and let it dissolve. Once melted, strain the syrup to remove impurities and then place back on low heat for 5-6 mins and let the syrup thicken.
Add the grated coconut and cardamom powder and let the mixture thicken. While still warm, make small ball-shaped macaroons.
