Channa : 2 cups (cooked)
Onion
: 1 no (slices)
Garlic
: 5
cloves
Ginger
: 1 piece
Green chillies
: 2 nos
Tomato
: 1 no (chopped)
Crushed
garam masala
: 1 tsp
Coriander powder
: 1 tsp
Cumin powder
: 1 tsp
Turmeric powder
: 1 tsp
Chilli powder
: 1 tsp
Coconut
milk
: 1 ½ cup
Coriander leaves : few
Salt
: as reqd
Instructions
Cook the channa and keep aside.
Heat
oil
in a pan, fry
onion
,
garlic
,
ginger
and
garam masala
.
Saute about 2 minutes.3) Transfer this into a mixer. Add
turmeric
,
chilli powder
, coriander,
cumin powder
.
In the pan, heat
oil
. Add this
garam masala
and fry well. Saute till the
oil
clears on top.5) Add the
tomato
and
green chillies
.
Add the channa and 1 cup
water
.
Cook the masala well.9) When the
water
is thickened, add the
coconut
milk
and cook it.
Coconut
milk
channa curry is ready.
