Instructions
  1. Wash rice and drain.
  2. Heat ghee in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Add green chillies, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and bay leaves. Stir for few seconds.
  4. Add jaggery and when it melts, add rice. Saute for 5 minutes.
  5. Add coconut milk and water in measured quantity.
  6. Increase the heat and bring to boil. Then lower the heat, cover and cook for about 15-20 minutes, till all the liquid has evaporated.
  7. Sprinkle grated coconut, cashews and raisins.
  8. Lightly fluff the rice with a fork.
  9. :- Serve hot.
