Colocasia (Chembu) Roast

Coclocasia Roast is a popular and a delicious South Indian side dish. This crispy curry can be prepared with 20 minutes with only few ingredients. This can be had with rice. This crispy curry is definitely a treat on holidays.

Instructions
  1. For preparing colocasia(chembu) roast, first slice colocasia into strips.
  2. Mix with salt and pepper. Fry it in oil.
  3. Heat a kadai and add oil. Fry ginger-garlic paste, onion, chillies and curry leaves.
  4. Add the fried colocasia and mix well.
  5. Add water if required to make the vegetable soft.
  6. Colocasia roast is ready.
