Corn Pulao

A dish made with nutrious corn

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Corn boiled with salt
  • 2 cups Rice
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 no Onion chopped, big
  • 1 no Tomato chopped, big
  • 1 no Capsicum chopped, small
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • Salt As reqd
  • Pepper As reqd
  • Fresh coriander leaves(chopped)

Instructions
 

  • Wash the rice and soak in cold water for 20 mins.
  • Heat ghee in a pan.
  • Slightly fry the rice.
  • Add the water and enough salt.
  • Cook till the rice is done. Keep aside.
  • Heat a kadai and add ghee.
  • Saute the onions.
  • When it starts to become pale, add tomato.
  • Add the corn, salt and pepper. Saute well.
  • Add capsicum and saute for 30 seconds and turn off the heat.
  • Add it to the rice and mix well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve hot.
