  • Butter - 4 tbsp
  • All purpose flour(Maida) - 2 tbsp
  • Tomatoes(sliced) - 600 gms
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Small onions(chopped) - 2 nos
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Bay leaves(Karuka ela) - 4 nos
  • Black Pepper Powder(As reqd) -
  • Pepper corn(Gol Mirch) - 4 nos
  • Cream - 4 tbsp
  • *Vegetable Stock - 4 cups
  • Parsley Leaves(A few, chopped) -
For making veg stock:-

Instructions
  1. For making white sauce: 1)Heat half of the butter, adding the flour and cooking for a minute while stirring till it turns slightly pink.
  2. Slowly add the milk.
  3. Boil again while stirring continuously till it becomes thick and smooth.
  4. For making the soup: 1)Heat half of the butter in a pan.
  5. Add the chopped onions and tomatoes along with bay leaves and gol-mirch.
  6. Fry while stirring for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add stock and simmer for about 30 minutes until done.
  8. Allow it to cool and liquidize in a blender and strain.
  9. Add slowly to the white sauce while stirring.
  10. Boil again while serving.
  11. Garnish with cream and parsley leaves.
