Creamy Tomato Soup
Soup with tomatoes and other ingredients

Onion
peeled and chopped
1
clove
Garlic
peeled and chopped
1
spring
Thyme
2
tbsp
Fresh
cream
10
nos
Basil leaves
chopped
1/3
litre
Hot
water
2
tbsp
Olive
oil
Pepper powder
As reqd
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
For preparing creamy
tomato
soup, dip the tomatoes in hot
water
, peel and de-seed them. Chop it and keep it aside.
Heat olive
oil
in a pan. Fry
onion
and
garlic
for 2 minutes on low flame.
Add the chopped tomatoes,
thyme
,
salt
and
pepper powder
. Pour hot
water
and mix well. Allow it to cook for 20 minutes.
Remove the
thyme
and pour the soup into a blender and blend it.
Return the blend soup into the saucepan and add in the
cream
. Heat it for 2 minutes.
Garnish with basil.
Creamy
tomato
soup is ready. Serve hot.
