  • For preparing currant biscuits, preheat the oven at 200 degrees celsius.
  • Mix sugar and butter until the sugar dissolves.
  • Add in eggs and mix well.
  • Then add in maida and mix till the mixture has an even consistency. Put it in a piping bag.
  • Place a grease paper at the bottom of the baking tray.
  • Press small drops out of the piping bag onto the grease paper.
  • Top each drop with 4-5 currants.
  • Put the baking tray in the oven and bake it for about 10 minutes. The biscuits should be golden brown around the edges and light in the middle.
  • Remove the biscuits using a metal spatula and allow it to cool.
  • Currant biscuits are ready.
