Instructions
  1. Grind together the green chillies, coriander leaves, ginger and cumin seeds into a paste.
  2. Cook the toor dal, along with garlic pods and turmeric powder.
  3. Heat 2 - 3 tsp cooking oil or ghee in a pan or a kadai.
  4. Saute the bay leaves and cinnamon stick for sometime.
  5. Add onions & fry till golden brown.
  6. Add the ground paste & fry till all the water leaves & the paste turns brown in colour.
  7. Add the cooked dal.
  8. Add salt to taste.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  10. :- Serve with Roti / Paratha / Jeera Rice.
