Ingredients
  • Left over Cooked Dal(any type of cooked channa dal or moong dal ) - 1 cup
  • Wheat flour - 2 -
  • Onion(finely chopped, medium) - 1 no
  • Green chillies(finely chopped) - 2 -
  • Garlic pods(finely chopped) - 2 nos
  • Coriander leaves(A handful, fully chopped) -
  • Salt(As reqd) -
  • Chilly powder - 1/4 -
  • Turmeric powder(optional) - 1/4 tsp
  • Oil for frying -

Instructions
  1. Take the leftover dal and mash it well, so that all the ingredients used along with it while cooking are blended well.
  2. Take the wheat flour in a big bowl and add the dal, onions, chillies, garlic, coriander leaves, salt and all the masalas.
  3. Add a spoon of oil and knead the flour to a smooth dough.
  4. :- If required you may use water.
  5. Refrigerate the dough for 15 - 20 mins.
  6. Take out the dough and make lemon sized balls off it.
  7. Roll into a small disc and then smear oil/ghee and fold into a semicircle.
  8. Again smear a little oil/ghee on this and fold again to form a triangle shape.
  9. Dust this with some flour and roll into a medium sized triangular paratta.
  10. Cook on a tawa, until golden brown on both sides.
  11. :- Serve hot with pickles and curd.
