  • boil and smash the dal, powder the jagerry, and cardamom
  • in a bowl add smashed dal, jaggery and cardamom and mix well
  • in another bowl add hot water, salt and rice flour and mix well
  • now mix ghee and both dal and rice flour mix and mix well
  • make like dough
  • take a small ball from dough and make shape in hand as kozhukattai
  • in a steamer keep the kozhukattai and steam for 15 mins
  • now dal/ paruppu pidi kozhukattai
