Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tsp of ghee in a pan.
  2. Fry moong dal for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Pressure cook moong dal with enough water, turmeric powder, carrot, beans, curry leaves and ginger.
  4. Add oil in a pan and once hot add mustard seeds.
  5. Once it splutters add cumin seeds and once it crackles add curry leaves.
  6. Add finely chopped onions and saute until raw smell goes off.
  7. To this add cooked moong dal and add salt to taste.
  8. Simmer for 5-10 minutes. Add water as per required consistency.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves and squeeze in lemon at the end.
