75 g All purpose flour (Maida)10 g Butter4 nos Eggs (separated)100 g Castor sugar1 packet Vanilla sugar25 g Corn flour25 g CocoaCinnamon (ground, Karugapatta)1 tsp Baking powder3 tbsp MilkFor filling:30 g Drained morello cherries1 tbsp Kirsch liquor400 ml Single cream (cold)25 g Icing sugar20 g Dark chocolate For preparing delicious black forest gateau, preheat the oven at 180 degrees celsius. Grease the tin with butter and dust with maida.Blend 4 egg yolks and sugar.Add in maida, corn flour, cocoa, cinnamon and baking powder. Blend it again well.Pour in milk and blend it again to get an even consistency.Whisk the egg whites until stiff.Mix the egg whites with the above mixture gently and pour it into the greased tin.Bake it for 30 minutes and allow it to cool. Then turn it over to cool completely on a wire rack.Make chocolate flakes out of the dark chocolate.Stir cherries with the kirsch.Whip the cold cream until fluffy. Mix it with the cherries mixture.Mix in the icing sugar.Cut the cooled cake into three layers.Spread the cherry cream mixture on the first layer and cover it with the second layer of cake.Again spread the cherry cream layer on top of the second layer and cover it with the third layer.Spread the remaining cherry cream mixture on top of the third layer and spread chocolate flakes over it.Delicious black forest gateau is ready.
