  • Coconut oil - 1 tbsp
  • Channa dal - 1 tbsp
  • Urad dal(uzhunnu) - 1tb
  • Kollamulaku - 4 nos
  • Curry leaves - 3-4 leaves
  • Shallots(kunjulli) - 10 nos
  • Tomato - 2 nos
  • Coriander leaves - 1 spring
  • Asafoetida(a pinch) -

Instructions
  1. Heat coconut oil in a pan.
  2. Saute channa dal and urad dal till it becomes golden brown.
  3. Add kollamulaku and saute for a minute.
  4. Add shallots and saute till it changes its colour.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes and saute for 2 minutes.
  6. Add coriander leaves,asafoetida and remove from stove.
  7. After the mixture is cooled grind it in a mixer. :- Do not add water for grinding.
