  • Powdered sugar - 3/4 cup
  • Melted ghee - 2 tbsp
  • Cooking Soda - 1 tsp
  • Vanilla Essence - 1/2 tsp
  • Egg - 1 no

Instructions
  1. Sieve the maida and soda together.
  2. Break the egg into a bowl.
  3. Mix together all the ingredients into a firm dough, using a little milk.
  4. Make 4 balls off the dough.
  5. Roll out each one into a chappathi of half an inch thickness.
  6. Cut out with 2 round cutters(1 big and 1 small) so that a small bangle sized ring is formed.
  7. Make rings similarly, using the remaining dough.
  8. Deep fry them in oil or vanaspati, over a medium flame, till the doughnuts are cooked, crisp and golden.
  9. Drain and allow it to cool.
  10. :- Store them in an airtight container.
